Kent McBride has extensive guiding experience in the realms of both climbing and skiing. His work has taken him throughout North and South America and also Europe. Through utilizing his ability to organize interesting trips, prepare very challenging goals for his clients and helping them to hone their skills in the mountains, he has developed many lasting relationships.
Over the past 11 years Kent has worked as a helicopter ski guide in the Tordrilllo’s of the Alaska Range, Haines, Girdwood, extensively throughout Valdez and Greenland.
Thanks to Marmot, K2 and Mark Newcomb, in 2005 Kent climbed The Central Summit of Shishapagnma (8000 meters) in Tibet without oxygen and completed a first ski descent down the Untsch couloir.
