What is El Potrero Chico? In Spanish El Potrero Chico means “the little corral”. To us at El Potrero Chico Climbing School it is a perfect learning environment for rock climbing of all kinds. From bouldering techniques to big wall skills El Potrero Chico offers a class room, and a teacher for every discipline in climbing. E.P.C.C.S. was started by Andy Baldasar after a climbing trip in 2003. From the need for essential climbing information E.P.C.C.S. was born. Now, Teamed with La Posada, we continue to teach the most modern safety skills and cutting edge multi-pitch, self rescue, big wall, speed climbing, and single pitch sport climbing, techniques there are. All of our safety and teaching techniques adhere to American Mountain Guide Association.

We also offer trips to the steep walls of El Salto, San Luis Potosi and Guadalajara.

La Pasada offers the best, most conveinant accomodations in El Potrero Chico.  Private rooms, suites, and camping are available, as well as a restaurant.  The hotel is right next to the climbing in El Potrero Chico.   When climbing in El Potrero, stay with La Posada.
